These are product rules, not slogans.

Video consultation before money. No one pays to “hold a chair.” The dentist who will treat you is on the call.
15% No Surprise is a ceiling. Compare the exam’s final total to the first written quote the patient agreed to — not to a budget guess, and not line by line. Lower is always fine. Higher is fine up to quote × 1.15 (US$10,235 on US$8,900). One dollar over that cap → the whole hold comes back. No 10% forfeit.
Two 10%s — never on the same booking. Cancel inside 48 hours of travel: patient keeps 90%, RatedDocs keeps 10%, dentist $0. Exam finished: dentist 90%, RatedDocs 10%. Forfeit vs release fee.
